Movie 1.0
So here it is in all its glory: our first film. It is a humble attempt that will nevertheless require a bit of bandwidth to view, even in 320-by-240 format. Sorry about that. Also, this is a really poor transfer, made from a VHS copy of AVID output. And this is by no means a finished edit, but more of a rough cut. But, for now, please try and overlook these shortcomings and enjoy the four-and-a-half minutes of Synthetic Conversation.
3 editions of Synthetic Conversation are available in the widely-supported MPEG-4 format:
Excellent quality: 34 MB (suitable for full-screen viewing)
Good quality: 17 MB (okay for up to 640 x 480 viewing)
Watchable: 10 MB (looks fine if kept at 320 x 240 size)
Let me know if there are any problems viewing these files and what you think of the movie in general.
UPDATE: Some older media players do not support MPEG-4, so I have re-linked to the less efficient .mov and JPEG versions that are also available:
Excellent Quality: 58 MB in MPEG format
Watchable: 17 MB in .MOV (Quicktime) format
